Equipment Rental Agreement

Last updated: April 2026

This Equipment Rental Agreement applies to equipment rentals booked through All Canadian Bin Rentals Ltd. ("we", "us") where you operate the equipment yourself. Please read it carefully before placing your booking. If you are also renting a bin, our Bin Rental Agreement applies to that part of your order.

1. Acceptance

By submitting an equipment rental booking, you ("you", "Renter") agree to be bound by this Agreement and the All Canadian Privacy Policy.

2. Service Area

We deliver equipment to Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Nanoose Bay, Bowser, Errington, Coombs, Dashwood, and surrounding communities on Vancouver Island, BC. Delivery outside these areas requires prior approval and may incur additional fees.

3. Rental Period & Rates

Equipment is rented by the day. You select the rental duration at booking (1 day, 2 days, 3 days, 5 days / 1 week, 10 days / 2 weeks, or by arrangement). The rental period begins on the delivery date and ends on the agreed return or pickup date.

Free delivery and pickup is included on rentals of 3 or more days. Rentals of 1–2 days may be subject to a delivery fee — our team will confirm this when they contact you.

If you need the equipment longer than your booked duration, contact us immediately to extend. Extended use without authorization is billed at our standard daily rate.

If equipment is not accessible or ready for pickup on the scheduled date, additional daily charges apply and are charged to your card on file.

4. Booking, Deposit & Payment

Equipment rentals require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance is charged after the rental is complete. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge your card for:

  • 50% of the equipment rental fee (including delivery, fuel surcharge, and GST) — charged at booking
  • The remaining 50% balance — charged after the equipment is returned or picked up
  • Any extended rental charges, if you keep the equipment longer than booked — charged after pickup
  • Damage charges assessed upon equipment return — charged after pickup
  • Refuelling charges, if equipment is returned with less fuel than delivered

Your requested delivery date is not confirmed until our team contacts you to verify details. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

5. Operator Responsibility & Qualifications

You are responsible for the safe operation of all rented equipment. Only qualified operators may use mini excavators, skid steers, and compactors. Improper use may result in injury, property damage, and full financial liability.

By renting equipment from us, you confirm that:

  • You or your designated operator(s) are qualified and experienced in the safe operation of the specific equipment rented
  • You have reviewed all manufacturer operating instructions and safety guidelines
  • You will not allow untrained individuals to operate the equipment
  • You will operate all equipment in compliance with applicable WorkSafeBC regulations and BC laws
  • You accept full responsibility for the safe operation of the equipment during your rental period

6. Identity Verification

We require government-issued photo ID from the primary renter prior to equipment delivery. Acceptable forms of ID include a valid driver's licence, passport, or provincial ID card.

By submitting a booking, you consent to providing a copy of your government-issued ID to us for identity verification and fraud prevention purposes. Your ID is stored securely and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Delivery may be withheld if valid ID is not provided prior to the scheduled delivery date.

7. Equipment Condition & Care

Equipment is provided in good working condition. You agree to:

  • Inspect the equipment upon delivery and report any pre-existing damage immediately
  • Use the equipment only for its intended purpose
  • Keep the equipment in a secure location when not in use
  • Not modify, repair, or sublet the equipment without prior written consent
  • Return or make available for pickup the equipment in the same condition as received, normal wear excepted

You are responsible for all damage beyond normal wear and tear, including damage caused by improper use, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.

8. Property & Site Responsibility

You are responsible for selecting a safe, accessible delivery and operating location. We are not liable for damage to driveways, pavement, landscaping, lawns, underground utilities, or any other property resulting from equipment delivery, operation, or pickup.

It is your responsibility to identify and communicate the location of all underground utilities, irrigation systems, and fragile surfaces before delivery. If you are uncertain, contact BC One Call (1-800-474-6886) before booking.

9. Loss & Theft

You are responsible for the equipment from the time of delivery until it is returned or collected by us. In the event of theft, loss, or total loss due to damage, you will be charged the full replacement cost of the equipment. We strongly recommend confirming your property or liability insurance coverage before taking delivery.

10. Fuel

Equipment is delivered with a full fuel tank (or standard operating level, as noted). You are responsible for returning the equipment at the same fuel level. A refuelling charge applies if the equipment is returned with less fuel than delivered.

11. Cancellations & Rescheduling

To cancel or reschedule, contact us at least 24 hours before your confirmed delivery date by calling 778-909-9874 or emailing info@allcanadian.ca.

Cancellations within 24 hours of a confirmed delivery date may result in forfeiture of the deposit. We reserve the right to reschedule deliveries due to weather, equipment availability, or other circumstances beyond our control.

12. Liability

We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use or misuse of the equipment, failure to comply with safety guidelines, or failure to comply with this Agreement. Our total liability in all circumstances is limited to the amount you paid for the specific rental in question.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claims arising from your operation of rented equipment.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and is read alongside the All Canadian Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
